A better way to nutrition.

At some point, everyone tries to tweak their nutrition for some reason.

Maybe you want to add some muscle so you try to eat more.

Maybe you want to drop some lbs for a wedding or high school reunion so you start looking for foods that you can avoid eating.

Maybe you have the come-to-Jesus moment with your doctor and get scared into cleaning out your cabinets are starting fresh with a bunch of “healthy” foods.

The problem with each of these situations is there is no plan to reach the goal so there will be no plan for maintaining the results once you get there.

This seems rather silly, no?

Although this may sound weird, your plan should begin with the end in mind. If your plan essentially has you white-knuckling from week to week, you are doomed to fail.

If your plan has you methodically moving forward with the end goal in mind, you reach your goal and have developed strategies along to way that will support what you are doing and allow you to sustain your hard work indefinitely.

Now we are talking!

This is the primary difference between how all diets work and how EBM’s Nutrition Program works.

All diets (and I do mean ALL diets) are built on restriction and willpower.

Typically, the first phase of any diet is taking things away. The restriction starts on day 1.

Carbs are usually the first to go because they will produce an immediate whoosh of weight loss. You see, when you store carbs in your body you also store water with them (3 grams of water for each gram of carbs stored).

So, you cut those carbs and all that water weight goes too. This creates a highly motivating weight loss that occurs right away.

This helps you to double down and continue on with the restriction.

Problem #1.

Willpower is finite. Eventually, it will give out. It always does. This is why all diets fail people.

This is no way to live.

Once you run out you will seek out all of the “forbidden” foods that you were restricting and then it is “game on!”

In short, this is why you will lose some weight on a diet but then put it all back on plus a few extra. This cycle repeats every time you try a “new” diet.

There really are no new diets. They are just repackaged and recycled ideas from years ago.

Problem #2.

Diets are not long-term solutions. If you decide to do one, there should be a predetermined start and end date. For most people, in most cases, 8 weeks is long enough.

Follow a diet for too long creates vitamin and mineral deficiencies and can impact how you produce hormones and how they interact with your body.

Problem #3.

No diet sets you up with any skills to maintain where you are when you reach your goal.

Reaching this point will be bittersweet.

Since you spent no time working on adjusting your habits and behaviors, you will fall back into your old ways and the results you achieved will be lost.

If you have been on this diet ride before, you know how frustrating it is. Every “new” diet tells you a wild tale of how it is different and how it will help you achieve your goals. It won’t. It can’t.

Are you ready for a better way to nutrition?

EBM’s Nutrition Program is not a diet. It is not built on restriction or willpower. There are no products or pills to purchase.

The program works on modifying your habits and behaviors to improve your nutrition and work towards achieving your goals.

The difference compared to all other diets is that as you move through the program, you are developing and sharpening your skills.

You work on new habits and spend time reinforcing them so they become part of your daily routine.

You learn how to eat:

✅ At home

✅ At work

✅ At a restaurant

✅ On vacation

✅ At a very pick family members house who gets easily offended when you do not eat their food

✅ At an impromptu work lunch

There is no anxiety. There is no pressure. You simply apply your skills wherever you are.

Diets and meal plans are rigid and add stress and anxiety to nutrition. EBM’s Nutrition Program does neither.

You have a plan to follow and you have daily lessons to help reinforce each habit that you work on.

Following a diet or a meal plan without first modifying your habits and behaviors WILL NOT work. You might see some results but you will not be able to sustain them.

Another great feature of EBM’s Nutrition Program is that it can be applied to any philosophy.

If you are vegan, it will work.

If you like to follow more of a keto plan, it will work for you.

Paleo? Absolutely.

Low carb. No dairy. 100%.

How can this work? Most people try to make drastic changes which are not sustainable. Look at the progression in the picture below. This might take weeks to accomplish (maybe longer).

Trying to go from the first picture to the last picture over the weekend is not going to last.

Even if this is the only meal you change over the course of a few weeks, you will start to eat hundreds of fewer calories. It sounds almost too simple to work.

EBM’s habit-based nutrition works with you, not against you. You are not forced to conform to another idea that does not align with your lifestyle and beliefs.

The ideas can be applied to any situation.
