What is Online Training?

Online training is a new and exciting way to offer life-changing, fitness coaching to clients. It can be utilized by anyone, anywhere, offering convenience, responsiveness, flexibility, and affordability. It allows me to help you no matter where you live.

Leveraging the power of the internet and cutting out the overhead costs of the gym means that you get more from your hard-earned dollar. Using online check-in and communication tools I empower you with more accountability, support and results at a fraction of the cost of in-person training.

The best part? The program is your program. No longer limited by rules of the gym, scheduling necessities, and financial obligations to a host of other parties, I can give you precisely what you need, when you need it.

Throw the word 'training' out the window. I will be your concierge – giving you what you need, when you need it. Every client is different from one another. That, and over the course of your training you will need different things from me in terms of direction, support, and accountability.

With online training I can give you what you need, when you need it.

You train on your terms in whatever way it fits into your schedule.

The key step in this process is how I do things. The attention to detail starts when gathering information from you to help design your program. This makes your program designed for you, not everyone else including you.

The attention to detail that goes into making all the exercise videos helps to ensure success by showing you how to do the movements properly.

You see, Online Training gives you the tools to achieve any goal. And even though you are not training alongside me, there are plenty of metrics to track progress and accountability and to make sure you have the support you need.


Why online training?

Let us count the ways:

  • No more having to fit into your trainer's schedule. You want 6 am on Monday but they only have 330 on Tuesday.

  • You can, essentially, meet your trainer anywhere, anytime via the internet. So even when your trainer is on vacation, you do not have to miss your workouts while your trainer does non-trainer-like things.

  • You get a customized training program and expert-level accountability for a fraction of the cost of in-person training.

  • Exercise videos/tutorials available on your phone or tablet which can be replayed as many times as needed. No more still shots in a magazine or handouts.

  • Your training sessions are as long as you need them to be.

  • Having a plan when going to the gym takes away any anxiety or apprehension about being viewed as "the only person in the gym that doesn't know what they are doing". You will now strut into the gym and crush workouts with impeccable form.

  • EBM's Online Training App allows me to see what workouts have been completed (or have not been completed). So, even though I am not there, I am still watching to keep you on task. Don't make me send a frowny face emoji your way.

Don’t think it can do done? That’s what Jeff thought before starting his remote program.

“I remember the exact day that I decided to make a change. It was July 15th, 2009. I was visiting Massachusetts from North Dakota, and I was at a relative’s birthday party. A vicious game of backyard volleyball had broken out. I was 29 years old, weighed 270 pounds, and I was horribly out of shape. Some type of injury was inevitable. A few moments later in the game, I was lying on the ground with a mildly sprained ankle and a severely bruised ego.

Dr. Tom was present that day for that fine display of athleticism. After tending to my ankle, Dr. Tom and I chatted briefly about fitness, and that is when I decided to make a change. A week later, I received a tailored workout via email from Dr. Tom. Along with the workout were short videos of Tom explaining and performing the exercises that made up my workout. The videos complimented my workouts perfectly. Dr. Tom did a great job explaining each exercise and also how all of the exercises related to each other throughout the workout. When I did have a question, Dr. Tom responded immediately.

The workouts themselves were nothing short of amazing. I was in and out of the gym in less than an hour. At first, my particular routine consisted of a total body workout, followed by only 10-12 minutes of cardio. Over time, Dr. Tom would produce a new workout to keep things fresh and interesting. Always keeping previous injuries in mind ( I have arthritis in both knees), Dr. Tom would tailor my workouts based on my current fitness level, and how I was feeling overall. This level of attention and interest in my well-being and success helped motivate me and led to my success.

September 2010. I had returned to Massachusetts to visit family and friends. I was now 31 years old, weighed 185 pounds, and I enjoyed my life more than ever. Looking great and feeling great led to a level of confidence I had never felt. People that I had grown up with could not believe how I had changed.

I owe my success to three things.

Take a video of the exercise in question and it gets uploaded to your dashboard for me to review.
